Emergency Relief

Saving lives and rebuilding futures

Food Security

Food Security

We deliver nourishing sustenance and survival packages to communities worldwide.

Medical Aid

Medical Aid

AGBU medical dispensaries, polyclinics and health centers offer free services to those in crisis.

Shelter Assistance

Shelter Assistance

We locate safe temporary housing for uprooted families and help repair damaged homes.

In the aftermath of war, natural disaster, human rights violations, and even pandemics, AGBU steps in to support those who need it most. Our far-reaching network of volunteers and frontline staff makes it possible for us to scale up emergency relief in record time, mobilizing quickly to raise awareness, generate funds and deliver urgent on-the-ground support where it counts.  We also invest in long-term sustainable assistance programs that help those in crisis rebuild their lives.

Support Our Efforts

Our vast volunteer network coupled with our global infrastructure ensures that we serve those in need with compassion and efficiency. Help us continue to mobilize when crisis arises by giving to our Global Relief Fund.

  • Only a very few organizations have efficiently been serving the community in Beirut following the Beirut Blast, and I can assure you the AGBU is among those very few.
Jamal Itani, Mayor of Beirut (2020)
  • The AGBU relief team was beside me from the very first day of the blast. They sent volunteers within days to help me handle the emergency cleanup. I am grateful to AGBU for nurturing such respectful young adults.
    Mihran, Beirut, Lebanon (2020)
  • When we first moved to Yerevan in 2012, we felt immediately welcome. AGBU provided us with so much support during that difficult transition offering rent, warm clothes, medicine, Christmas gifts for the children, and beyond. AGBU spared neither efforts nor expense while helping us.
    Gevorg, Yerevan, Armenia (2018)

Critical Partnerships

To maximize our impact, we often collaborate with major organizations like the International Red Cross, World Food Program, the United Nations, European Union agencies, and other local entities.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and governments also look to AGBU to help administer outreach and distribution, such as the EU cargo shipment of Covid 19 medical supplies to Armenia. We worked with World Central Kitchen to serve warm meals to thousands stranded by the 2020 blast in Beirut.
