Map of Salvation is a docudrama that narrates the humanist movement and relief work that emerged in the late 19th and beginning 20th century, during the Armenian Genocide.
The heroes of the documentary are humanists known to history, real people who have witnessed the massacres of the Armenians.
They are:
Maria Jacobsen (Denmark),
Karen Jeppe (Denmark),
Alma Johansson (Sweden)
Bodil Biørn (Norway),
Anna Hedvig Büll (Estonia)

They left their lives in Europe and devoted themselves selflessly and unconditionally to the Armenian people. They are witnesses of the Armenian Genocide and the founders of shelters for Armenian children and women. The film is told by Finnish historian Svante Lundgren. Passing through the path of mission of the films heroes, he draws a new map: The Map of Salvation.

We dedicate this screening to the memory of these brave women and to all humanists past and present, who in their way make a difference and make the world a better place.
