Job Description
The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Director. This is a full-time temporary replacement for maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including classification of expenses by profit centers/program
- Management of cash flows, capital and operational expenditures
- Support to the accounting department staff during the Foundation’s annual audit activities
- Conducting analyses for forecasting, planning, and budgeting purposes for the programs and for the operations
- Assist in preparing wire transfers, if and when needed
- Assisting the Director of Finance in preparation of AGBU WW consolidated statements
- Performing other duties as assigned by the management
Requirements- Skills/Qualifications
- Higher education / BA degree in the field of Finance, Accounting or Economics
- At least 2 years of professional work experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reporting and communication skills
- Attention to work-related details
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate on multiple time-sensitive projects
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees, partners, and vendors
- Teamwork ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS-Accountant
- Working knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards
- Knowledge of IFRS is mandatory
- Excellent command of Armenian and English
