AGBU YPs provide networking, social, educational, and mentoring opportunities for the new generation of Armenian professionals. Our activities enhance community engagement for the next generation offering forums for professional development and access to cultural exploration as well as volunteering and community service projects locally and abroad. Through these opportunities, Armenian professionals form a deeper appreciation and connection with their shared identity.

AGBU Young Professionals is a global network of individuals committed to making a difference in the world by engaging with local Armenian communities, enhancing personal and professional relationships and building a brighter homeland.
Our Values
AGBU YPs believe in the transformative power of community and inclusivity, welcoming young professionals of all backgrounds, industries and walks of life. Together, we build meaningful connections and create a pipeline for diverse talents to collaborate and contribute to impactful projects, and encourage important dialogues that build bridges for the future.
YP Cares
The AGBU YP global network supports the work of the Armenian General Benevolent Union serving both in volunteer capacities for programs and in its vast fundraising efforts. Since our founding, we have raised over $1 million for AGBU projects and humanitarian relief efforts through events, galas, auctions, a-thons and more.
YPs have flexed our global muscles and pooled resources to focus on urgent needs in the Diaspora, Armenia and Arrtsakh. Recent campaigns include:
- Global Relief for Artsakh
- Global Relief for Lebanon
- Higher education scholarships
- Scholarships for AGBU Global Leadership Program
- Women's Empowerment in Armenia: AGBU EmpowerHer
Stronger Together
Through YP Cares, the network of 40+ groups unites behind a single cause to raise a global awareness of issues and needs bringing attention and funds when needed most. Most recently, the AGBU Young Professionals joined forces for Warm Hearts-Warm Homes to provide for the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh. Together they provided winter clothing, blankets and heaters to hundreds of displaced families who lost their homes in the 2020 Artsakh War.
