The AGBU Learn to Earn Armenia Program (LEAP) is more than just a training program - it’s a chance for people to rebuild their lives during difficult times. Created for those who have been displaced or are facing challenges, LEAP offers a six-month journey that helps turn uncertainty into a clear and stable career path.
We believe everyone has the ability to succeed, sometimes they just need the right support and opportunities. LEAP helps connect people’s potential with real job opportunities in Armenia. By working closely with employers in fields like banking, hospitality, and more, we make sure participants don’t just learn new skills, but are truly ready to enter the workforce.

Professional Pathways

The LEAP program is built around the real needs of Armenia’s growing job market. It focuses on key professional areas where participants have strong chances to find stable and long-term employment.
To reach as many people as possible, LEAP works across several regions, including Yerevan, Syunik, Shirak, and Kotayk. Each of these areas has different opportunities and challenges when it comes to jobs and professional growth. By working both in the capital and in the regions, the program makes sure more people have access to training and support. This approach helps strengthen local communities, create more job opportunities, and support balanced economic growth across the country.

A Bridge to Employment

After completing their main training, participants spend three more months developing communication skills and workplace English. During this time, they also build important soft skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability, which are essential for today’s work environment.
We continue to support participants as they move into employment by offering personalized career guidance and connecting them with employers. By helping people find the right job environment, LEAP becomes a pathway toward long-term financial independence and a more secure future.

Our Roots: A Legacy of Resilience

LEAP began in 2019 in Artsakh, where it supported professionals in both the public and private sectors. After the displacement in 2023, the program quickly adapted to continue supporting people in Armenia. While circumstances changed, the goal remained the same - helping people move forward, rebuild, and create new opportunities for themselves.
